Services are provided on a project-by-project basis as defined in a signed proposal or statement of work. We make no guarantees of commercial success, bestseller status, literary representation, media placement, or financial results.
3. Intellectual property
Authors retain all rights to their manuscripts and creative work. Inkwell Strategies Team retains rights to its internal processes, proprietary strategies, and project branding elements until full payment is received, subject to the signed project agreement.
4. Payments and refunds
Payment terms are specified in the individual project proposal. Due to the professional nature of consultation, editing, and strategy services, payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, except as required by applicable law or agreed in writing.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Inkwell Strategies Team is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from our services or publication of your book. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
6. Author responsibility
Authors are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content within their manuscripts. We do not provide legal advice or copyright registration services.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States of America. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, New York.
